Built-In Update

13 Mar

Hey there bloggies 🙂 It’s been way too long hasn’t it? Sorry I’ve been M.I.A. but I’m back with an update on my decorating madness. I finally tackled the built-in.

So, here’s the before:

Beautifully bare and ready for a makeover.  Like the random light up ball things?  That’s how we class things up around here. With light up balls. hehe.  It’s hard to be mature.

After gathering up goodwill finds around the casa and treasure hunting in my mom’s garage, I was ready to get my decorating on.  I also threw in a few of my own artworks to spruce it up a bit.  You likey?

Here’s a close up of all the little nooks.  Work it little nooks!!  You’re fierce tigers!

One of my most recent paintings.

I love the way it looks when you layer different frames and artwork all in the same area.  The cute pupper drawing on the left was done by one of my students in the past.  It’s a portrait of little Mini. 🙂

Beautiful blues.  My sister brought me that fabulous blue dish from Chicago. Love.

I finally have a place to put my creepy picture that I fell in love with at a thrift store.  Love you mom for buying it for my birthday. Beyond Love!!!

And yes, this would be one of the most awesome book finds by Baggos ever.

Overall, Im pretty happy with the outcome.  Im sure I’ll rearrange things as time goes by and with new nic naks I bring home from various thrift stores around town.  I have a sickness and Im proud of it!  Yay to all things thrifty!!!
